meowmeow
I have always been interested in Public Health and it would be a great opportunity to attend a dual program. However are there actual pros to having a dual masters as a practicing PA?What are the benefits? Is there a pay raise associated with a dual masters?Cons:Extra year of SchoolingExtra year of Tuition Like This Quote MultiQuote Edit
UGoLong
I have found that having multiple masters degrees (only the MPAS in the health field) in different subjects is a help, though often an intangible one. I doubt that you'll make more on your first job but you might find yourself more employable because of the market basket of skills you'll have. In my case, the degrees came along a long path of multiple careers. I don't think I would have purposefully go after another masters because I thought it would help me with my PA career. Glad I've got them but I'm not sure that the juice would be worth the squeeze for you at this point.
