Dabba
Sorry for the multiple topics, this will be my last I swear. So my GPA for science is at 2.99 and I need to increase it. I was going to take extra classes in addition to the senior health science track to boost the GPA Looking at CASPA's "Other Science" list, it lists Health Science, but it seems like some of these wouldnt count. Here is the track I'm on for my senior year: Fall Core: 1. HAN 300 Health Care Issues 2. HAN 333 Communication Skills 3. HAN 335 Professional Ethics 4. HAN 364 Issues in Health Care Informatics 5. HAN 383 Professional Writing Spring Emergency and Critical Care: 1. HAN 416 Special Issues in Emergency Care and Resuscitation 2. HAN 417 Cardiac Emergencies 3. HAN 471 Trauma and Trauma Systems 4. HAN 472 Emergency Response to Hazardous Materials and Terrorism 5. HAN 477 Medical Emergencies So, would all of these count? It seems most of the first semester wouldnt, but would the second would. I don't want to overload my semesters if I don't need to. IF these will raise my sGPA, or at least some of them then I'm content. Thanks guys. nandosport
I feel like that second semester will raise your sGPA. Sent from my LG-P769 using Tapatalk
Dabba
So do I. But I'm wondering about the first. I'm planning to take 4 extra credits this fall but I may drop them if I don't need them.
smccccc
I don't think your first semester classes will raise your science gpa they all belong in another category.
Guest MedLib42
First semester definitely wouldn't fall under health science (it's english, communications, general humanities) but most or all of the second semester should.
fakingpatience
I'd think health care issues, health care informatics, and professional ethics would go under behavioral sciences (not sure if that effects sGPA). All the second semester will be other sciences; I listed all my ems classes as that
Dabba
I'm on the same page as you guys. I emailed caspa about it so well see what they say. The more of them that are other sciences the better
