jnastasi
I was wondering if anybody had some schools that I should be focusing on with a lower then average GPA. I live in California, my GPA is 3.0, Science GPA 3.4, I have over 4000 hours of pt care experience as an ER Tech, 20 hrs of shadowing experience, and have not taken the GRE. Any advice would be very appreciated.
Timon
I think RCC and LLU would be up your alley. You can also look at the two new programs Chapman and MBK. I think Touro CA, Touro NV and SMU would be worth applying to as well with your stats.
warz2k4
Can anyone name other schools that evaluates lower GPA individuals?
cinntsp
Start going through each of those programs' websites and check the GPA requirements, whether they base it on the last 30, last 60, pre-reqs only, etc. Put it all in a spreadsheet and come back and share it for the next pre-PA that will ask the same question in a few weeks. :) Idaho State bases their interview invites on a formula that takes pre-req GPA into account. http://arc-pa.org/acc_programs/
