I was looking though old threads and saw a few topics on wait listed students, then another member mentioned we should start one for this year. I interviewed on 2/12 and heard yesterday i was placed on the wait list. I loved Duke and the faculty/students were very nice. Keeping my fingers crossed! Others have been accepted, denied, and wait listed but I haven't heard a thing. they said that the deadline was 03/01. what does that mean? I never received the email but she told me today that I am number 41 on the wait list so I am attending another program as well. Good luck to everyone!! It's been a month, so i was hoping to hear SOMETHING but no news yet :/ anyone else on the same boat? also, in the email wendy asked us to NOT email them asking for updates. So i was wondering if anyone that is waitlisted, or WAS waitlisted in the past, sent a letter of intent?? I really don't want to do that if they prefer us not to! Looks like last year people heard mid march, and they went pretty far into the waitlist but I heard that two years ago they didn't use the waitlist at all...
