I have given my information to the call centers and received emails stating that I could be a fit and a recruiter will contact me in the coming days. I also work in the federal government, where there are numerous USPHS commissioned corp officers, who have served in the military or are in reserves now. I recently chatted with an older MD who did the Navy health scholarship 20+ years ago and is now a commissioned corp officer about to retire and he provided wonderful insight. However, he suggested (and I agree) that I should chat with current PA students taking advantage of this scholarship, as well as graduates who are now in the field.
