ctstone1
I don't post here very often so I hope this kind of topic doesn't ruffle any feathers. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your service. You certainly deserve more than a single day of gratitude!!! You are all an inspiration in so many ways! Thanks again. Moderator ventana Posted November 12, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 12, 2014 Although I am a vet myself, I never saw a war zone. I want to express a special thanks to those that not only volunteer, but then got deployed and have paid dearly - they will likely carry the memories and scars for a lifetime, but please know that you are appreciated! I have yet to be asked, but I have volunteered for the past 6-7 years at http://projectevergreen.org/programs/scft/?page=scft This is a program for the northern tier residents with plow trucks, offering to plow out vets when then need it after a snow storm. I would be honored to help out family who had a member deployed, during the winter...... Maybe others out there can consider doing something like this?
