StefPAC02
I have been a PA since 2002. I have been happily working in Derm since 2004 with a couple years of adolescent med/correctional medicine. I have been entertaining per diem EM work.... that is, if anyone will hire me. I'm not sure if it is the desire to do more "life saving" medicine or wanting to work in the hospital again. Not entirely sure what my motives are. Experienced EM PAs.... is this a stupid idea, or is it feasible... any suggestions for must have books? Any tips at all appreciated. THANKS P.S. I used to frequent the PAforum several years ago but have been away until recently :)
Moderator EMEDPA Posted October 8, 2013 Moderator Share Posted October 8, 2013 probably should start in urgent care or fast track for a while first to get back into the acute care mindset. start with "minor emergencies: from splinters to fractures". good text.
