ktcan10
This is merely an exploratory question that jumped into my mind at some point. For some of the universities that have PA schools, does anybody know whether they look well upon alumni recommendations (extra letters, not included in my application packet). Does that strengthen an application, or is it merely another piece of paper to add to my stack? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks so much, everyone. NathanLe
I don't see how it could hurt. The letter could simply be added to your folder, or, it could make your application unique and top of mind come selection time. From my personal experience, having an alumni stick their neck out on my behalf helped me land a spot.

UGoLong
At some schools, an alumni recommendation will get you an interview.
