Side job--Medical necessity/Utilization reviewer

I have been asked to work with a company that does utilization reviews for insurance companies. As a PA my job would involve compiling the medical history, MOI and resources to support/deny the recommended procedure. The physician would then perform a peer to peer review with the physician recommending the procedure and make the final decision.

 

Does anyone have any experience with this or is currently doing this? Any advice?
