Question regarding pharmacy tech certification- advice ASAP appreciated! Thx :)

I was wondering if I should mention in my PS that I received my pharmacy technician certification my senior year in high school through a special class I was able to take and passing the PTCB exam.. Although I passed the certification board exam I was unable to utilize it and work in a pharmacy due to family and financial matters causing me to work elsewhere where I was able to make more money. Would it be better to leave it out since I didn't use it or acknowledge the achievement? Please let me know your opinions! Thank you.

you should mention it but it likely won't help that much as you never used it but couldn't hurt.

Thanks for the quick response, I will include it. I forgot to mention in my first post- what about working with a child with cerebral palsy and mild autism (picking up from school, assisting him with after school program consisting of computer-game oriented learning tools, assisting with homework, and general care in home such as assisting with walker, feeding, and bathroom/bathing needs. I was given opportunity while in high school as well. I would imagine regardless of when I did this, it would qualify as direct patient care contact hours, correct? Thanks again!

I would mention these things. sounds very much like a cna position so that should help.
