TrevInTampa813
Hi, I start PA school in January down here in Florida. I was curious about working as a PA outside of the USA. I don't know much about it. Any info about education requirements, any kind of board you have to pass, job availability and stability, and other general info/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted July 24, 2013 Moderator Share Posted July 24, 2013 Wouldn't work in Canada. VERY restrictive, few jobs. UK and South Africa is looks good and they just hand you a license if you have one here in the US from my understanding. South Africa has great autonomy and you are called a Clinical Officer/Associate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sk732
Biggest restriction in Canada is the number of jobs...also depends on the province you want to go to. My civilian practice is a lot less restrictive than when I was in the military actually. SK
