Just playing devils advocate here.... first time PANCE pass rate in 2015 was 96% and in 2014 it was 95%... though the population of students that seek out tutors is unlikely representative of the total population.

 

Out of curiosity, what are your rates?

Is this tutoring to PASS the test or for knowledge?

 

I am one of those geeky individuals who learns to learn - not to pass.

 

The test is a mess and needs help.

 

So, if tutoring to just PASS - not interested - knowledge and clinical skills much more important.

 

I am of the mind to fix NCCPA and PANCE/PANRE more than just getting people to pass.

 

I took old fashioned 3 day PANCE with mock patients a long time ago and have recerted with Pathway II (which I absolutely loved) and then once at Sylvan learning centers on computer and once in jail-lockdown setting at Pearson. I have to recert again next year.

 

I am smarter of my own accord. I am cranky about the stupid test and how it doesn't reflect real life.

$75!  With a 5 hour minimum!  And you get powerpoints!

 

97% pass rates for students who have failed PANCE 2-3 times.  The pass rate for anyone taking it the 2nd or 3rd time is nearly 100% anyway.  From someone who has never been a PA.....it's all kinds of fishy.
