lawrence14
I work as a Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Tech. At both hospitals, I had to go through a week long training when I first started and since then I have had additional trainings on stroke education, handle with care behavior management, pressure ulcer prevention, etc. Where do I mention this on CASPA? The Health Related Training section says to list current professional certifications ONLY. I listed my BLS certification in this section since I have the certification card. I am not sure if I can list these trainings in this section. We took quizzes/exams at the end of the class, but I do not have an official printed out certificate. For anyone else who was in the same situation, where did you put these trainings? Health Related Training or Other Healthcare Experience?
Andreasmo
According to CASPA, they need to be in work and volunteer experience. https://portal.caspaonline.org/caspaHelpPages/frequently-asked-questions/additional-information/health-related-training/index.html
EKR007
I just included some of the relevant stuff as 'duties' My hospital does the supplementary education online, and I did not mention it at all on the application since it was so informal.
