mshells90
Hey Guys, Does the University of Iowa have a preference for in-state applicants or do out-of state applicants stand a chance? I am thinking about applying this cycle. Thanks!

Dynamo24
I think bordering state applicants have a better chance than say someone from California or Texas. If you have solid HCE, are from a bordeing state, maybe a URM or non-trad...probably puts you a better odds than a 22 year old white kid from Maine. I may be wrong, though. Dynamo24
Also to follow up on this, having research is a huge help at Iowa.
