Resume Tips/Advice for a first timer

Recommended Posts

Hey all, first time poster on this forum. I am currently gearing up to begin the PA school application process next month. I believe my grades, health care experience, letters of recommendation should be fairly strong, but I am simply looking for some tips concerning a resume. First and foremost, will I need to submit a separate resume, or will it all be taken care of in the standard application? If a resume is needed, could someone give me a few tips on what it should look like? In other words, where should it differ from a standard resume? What things could be done to help me stand out further? Any additional tips would be greatly appreciated. Also, any general tips that you wish you'd known as a first time applicant would be awesome. I look forward to any feedback and thank you all in advance!
