bakersfield Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 hi All I have question about taking Phlebotomy class even though i am already certified as an IV certification and Blood withdrawal. I just want to get you guys's opinion on it that should i register for Phlebotomy class to just to see that it will look good on my application that i have this certification. PM2016 Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Phlebotomy is good but the thing with that is that some schools will only want to count the hours you actually spend drawing blood..for example if you work in a hospital you will spend a few hours in the lab. Also I would look into the job market in your area..lots of places will only hire you with experience.
