BroncoPAS
Let's say that a PA wanted to earn a PhD in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences, Health Care Management or a related field, could those credit hours be applied toward CME hours? I ask because many teachers use their required continuing education hours to earn masters degrees or PhD's which then raises their salary upon completion making for a win-win situation. Thanks in advance!

BroncoPAS
yes, if it is an approved CME course. Thanks. Is there a list of approved college courses that you can direct me towards?
Administrator rev ronin Posted January 6, 2013 Administrator Share Posted January 6, 2013 Yes, but they would generally be Cat 2 CME, which can be awarded for pretty much anything. As JMPA points out, they need to be approved courses to be Cat 1 CME
