BobSaget Posted July 16, 2023 Hi PA here with 5 years of total experience: 2 years FM, 1 year UC PRN, 2 years IM, 1 year EM. Curious on what an appropriate hourly rate is for PRN/Part Time UC work in the South Bay? I would be foregoing any benefits because I am on my spouse's health and dental. 1 Quote
Joelseff Posted July 17, 2023 (edited) South Bay has slightly higher pay rates than rest of the bay. I think you'll find for 5yrs experience, UCs paying around 85-95 per hour. Some ERs pay a little more but I think ER pay took a hit recently. Our system in the North Bay pays APPs the same regardless of specialty and with 5yrs exp its around mid 80s to low 90s per hour. YMMV Edited July 17, 2023 by Joelseff 2 Quote
