TWR
After 26 years of practice, 85% in Family medicine, my SP came and told me he could not afford to pay me. No 2 week notice or anything. Practice was down since an NP left after 4 1/2 years and did not recover rapidly enough. No matter, I have owned 5 successful businesses so money wise I am fine. What I want to do is become a Patient Advocate. My thought would be to help patients through the quagmire of understanding what their bills are for, why so many medicines, etc? I will not require any malpractice although I will keep up on my skills and I am attending the AFPPA in November. I put this out there because I would like some input as to your thoughts and ideas about my #"6" adventure. Thanks. Tom
