Mission grants available for PA Students

It has been a long season of Covid-19, and international medical missions are just now opening up travel opportunities from that pause.

The Fellowship of Christian PAs (FCPA) has donor-dedicated funds available to support current PA students or recent PA graduates going on short-term international mission trips. FCPA has multiple $500 grants available for this year. In the past, FCPA has funded one or two grants per year, but now that Covid-19 travel restrictions are being lifted, we want to use these dedicated funds to see new career PAs and PA students serving alongside each other.

The purpose of the grant is “to equip and encourage members to share their faith in all aspects of life…” As a Christian faith-based organization, FCPA is seeking like-minded individuals who they can “encourage the sending forth of laborers into the fields … by offering financial and prayer support to members* in good standing.” We want to help PAs and PA students model Jesus’ priorities of healing, love for the poor, and service. For complete details including qualifications and application materials, please visit this website:

Until AAPA Conference 2023, we are waiving the 1 year membership requirement for PA students to apply for this grant. Become a member and apply today.

*Grants are available to student or fellow members of the Fellowship of Christian PAs. Membership in FCPA is administered by (and FCPA is a specialty section of) the Christian Medical and Dental Associations. While student membership is free, both students and fellow members must subscribe to a statement of faith, which is viewable at https://cmda.org/join/ before any applicant information is collected. (Fellow members of FCPA, graduated PA-Cs, should register at that link as “Associate Healthcare” members of CMDA)
