Arial00
Starting to gather info to study for PANRE-LA or regular PANRE (I have not decided yet). is it my oversight or are there less disease processes that we are required to know for the current PANRE? I last took the test in 2016. Thanks
mcambron
Yep, NCCPA has pared down the material, mostly getting rid of the less prominent disease process often only really dealt with in specialties. They said the test has moved to covering more core knowledge all PAs should know. I just did a video with good study sources, exam tips, and open-book resources mentioned by those who took the PANRE-LA pilot. Here is the link if you are interested. https://youtu.be/OWiKz3H4omg
Moderator EMEDPA Posted November 7, 2022 Moderator Share Posted November 7, 2022 I am taking panre LA next year. There is a good discussion of this test from a recent thread on the huddle. Consensus is don't worry about it if you have done well on prior testing. This is my 4th panre, so I plan to take it cold.
