Jabis
What are good majors to take for undergrad so that I can go into PA school fulfilling all my requirements?
DiggySRNA
A science one that leads to a degree that allows you to make money while you wait to get in. Radiology Science (ARRT) RespiratoryTherapy (RRT) Nursing EMT/Paramedic ( some schools actually give you a BS/BA as part of their paramedic curriculum) Medical Technologist Edited October 20, 2022 by Diggy
Jabis
I was thinking of taking either public health or health sciences as an undergraduate major but I’m not sure which one would be a better fit for PA?
UGoLong
Diggy makes a good point, though -- as an engineer -- I feel that the list of possible majors is essentially infinite. You want one that could lead to a job you would enjoy doing even if you never get into a PA program (or change your mind). You will also need to take the right electives to get into a program but that should be doable. Either of the majors you are considering would work. The question I would ask is which would lead to a job you could do and enjoy with a BS degree? Best wishes.
