Luckyrabbit1799
If I have already submitted apps and gotten my LOR and have a decent amount of hours, is it safe to leave my PCE job? I am itching to leave because I’m so burned out. But I don’t want to jeopardize my chances of getting into school. Thoughts?
ANESMCR
How about leaving once you actually get into school?
mitskistan69
If you feel like you have a competitive amount of hours and want to briefly leave then sure. I understand being burnt out. However, you have to weigh the pros and cons. If you leave now it can possibly make you less competitive next cycle if you don't get in. You can always go back to PCE jobs if you feel like taking a few months of a break and doing something else or maybe try part time?
Chloe8240
I wouldn’t leave your current job until you find a new job that has PCE. I agree with the previous poster, you don’t want to hurt your chances of getting in next cycle if you don’t get in this cycle. If you need a break I would wait until after you’re accepted into a program. Your hard work will be worth it.
