Old school reduction

Just a reminder, it is possible to do reductions without propofol or narcotics. This pt had a displaced distal radius fx that reduced very nicely with a hematoma block with 10 cc marcaine 0.5% plain and finger traps traction with 10 lbs for 10 minutes. A little tug at the end and it was in.

Yup, Stinson's maneuver. That is a great one when you don't have a lot of time. Set up the traction and walk away.
