cookie98
I am currently applying for the Navy HPSP to become a PA. After the three year active duty obligation is completed one has three options to my knowledge: stay active duty, go into the reserves, or spend the last five years of ones obligation in the inactive reserves. My recruiter has assured me that there is virtually no chance that once in inactive reserves I would be pulled out back to active duty. In the current Iraq/A'stan wars, have PAs, docs, and nurses been pulled out of inactive reserves to serve in these conflicts? Thanks for any answers.
