steinker Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 Hey guys. I was just wondering if many PA's end up working with N.D.'s? Or in alternative medicine in general? Naturopathic medicine has always interested me but I don't think I have ever seen it mentioned on any of the PA forums. I know that N.D.'s are only able to be licensed in like 15 states i think (I live in WA, which is one of them) so that may factor into it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jmj11 Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 No state would allow a PA to work with an ND and have medical practice rights. It must be MD/DO nothing else. PAs are trained to practice medicine so our SPs must practice medicine. Now if there was a MD/ND then you would full rights as a PA as long as the MD license was current.
