NewtoPA2
I graduated undergrad in 2019 with a bachelors degree in exercise science. I went to DPT school for one semester but due to family issues I ended up failing one class and getting dismissed from the program. Shortly after, I took a full-time job working at the front desk of an ortho and spine office. I've always been interested in the medical field and working there made me interested in the PA profession. Do I honestly have a chance of being accepted to a PA program with my dismissal from DPT school? I want to be realistic of my chances before making any decisions. I was average in undergrad, I had a 3.5 overall GPA and a 3.3ish science GPA but I would need to take organic chemistry and microbiology. If anyone has any opinions or advice I would greatly appreciate it.
DizzyJ
Yes, you can have a chance. What that chance is...nobody knows. Lots of variables depending on how many schools you apply to the the applicant pool you are up against.
