david89 Posted July 4, 2012 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Hello all i was wondering about programs that require TOEFL if english is your secondary language. my situation is that english is my secondary language but i came here about 12 years ago. So do i still need to take the TOEFL? anyone familiar with this situation? Guest Posted July 4, 2012 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Most of the programs will tell you that you don't. One (EVMS) requires that you do if you came here after the age of 12. I found that to be absolutely ridiculous since I came to this country at 14, and went to HS and college here. I think most programs don't need it if you went to college here.
