OliviaN
I am currently stationed overseas in the Middle East, and need the 1,000 hours in order to even apply to PA school when I get out in 2 years, what kind of background(s) did you use for your hours? Has anyone just volunteered at a hospital or is that not sufficient enough?

I thought this was always the case but I believe moderator stated that come take other things besides paid hours, but i feel this is the most common. CNA, PCT, MA, scribe, PTA seem to be the most common. Since you asked what we used...I used emergency nursing as my background so that isn't an option for most.
