Clinical Hours

Recommended Posts

I would say it depends more on the job description than the job title. My friend was a behavioral technician, and there was no patient care (she had no contact with patients, she just charted at the desk), but Im sure there are behavioral technician jobs out there that are different and have patient contact.

I went to EMT school, and went to a 3 month program instead of doing it at a CC (you could probably research to see what is in your city and how long the programs are). My friend is a CNA and didnt go to CNA school (Im in FL and you can just challenge the CNA test, show up on your CNA test and if your skills are correct then you get the CNA license). I would just see what is around you. I would say MA is also a popular option, some around you may not require a license and they can train you on the job with phlebotomy, vitals, etc.
