I am in need of shadowing experience to further affirm my decision for PA school. My schedule is pretty wide opened right now. I am also open to shadow MD's and DO'S. healthcareprofessional Posted June 25, 2020 Share Posted June 25, 2020 For shadowing opportunities, you can either try to contact the local hospitals to check if they have a shadowing program, or you register on platforms online that assist with this. There are a few I know of - healthcareshadowing.com, northwestern.edu. They connect you with healthcare professionals based on your interest and area of choice. You can customize your search and find medical professionals based on their locations and specialties as well. You can get in touch with them via video or audio call and if they find your profile to be very impressive, you might even land a shadowing opportunity.
