Physical Therapy Aide- HCE??

I applied for a job as a physical therapist aide in the city and got called for an interview. Is working as an aide considered health care experience? Since I do not have any type of paid HCE yet, I thought this would be a good start.

Yes this is more than likely considered HCE at any program. I actually started a thread asking the same question. Ill add the link to my response.

What type of certification or training does it require to become a physical therapy aide?

Sort of the great thing about it is that most outpatient clinics or maybe even inpatient hospitals, will train you. No certification is required. Generally a shown interest in physical therapy is 'wanted' but an interest in the health field can be just as good. (Hint: I would mention your thinking about getting into physical therapy at the interview.)
