It depends on the individual school. Some allow you to matriculate into their program as long as you have your Bachelor's Degree by the start date. Others want you to have your Bachelor's completed by the application deadline for THIS cycle [for example, by September 2012). Look into what each school says! In general though, you would have much better odds applying for next year's caspa cycle

IMHO depends less on when you graduate than when you feel you are ready to apply. Do you have a good shot at getting in right after graduation, or do you need to spend some time working on HCE, volunteering more, maybe taking another prereq or 2 for specific schools, getting people to write rec letters? Also, be careful because some schools start in May/June. I know a girl who had to take all her finals early and miss graduation with her friends to start PA school.
