2full2eat
I wanted to know if mentioning PA school in your personal statement is ok to use. In other words, I'm literally saying the term "PA school" in my statement, and I feel its a little strange to use. What are other peoples thoughts please? CBarbaccia
Can you give us some context - post an example of a sentence so that we can determine if the way you're using the term is "professional" or not
2full2eat
Thanks a lot for your interest, but from the time I posted this to now, I totally reedited the entire paragraph and I removed PA school from it. Thank you though.
mackjacks
In case it helps in any of your re-writings, I think personal statements should use the accepted format from professional writing where you write out a whole word, give the abbreviation in parenthesis, and then can refer to the abbreviation any following times thought the writing. For example: I never considered becoming a medical doctor (MD). If I had seriously considered being a MD, my undergraduate classes would have varied slightly.
