lilmissunshine
I know it's a long shot but I got set up there and was wondering what people who went there thought? Did you get to do a lot of hands on stuff or was it overrun with residents/med students? Thanks!
deborah212
I did trauma surgery there in late 2007. There were 2 PA students (including myself), 1 med student, 2 interns, and I'm not sure how many residents. Definitely not as much OR time because of the above. Did much more suturing on my EM rotation. New Haven is an urban city with a fair amount of gun violence and stabbings, so you will see interesting pathology. If surgery interests you then you will need to be somewhat aggressive.
FancyPAntsy
I did surgery at Yale Norwalk and it was fantastic and exhausting. Totally hands on. The PAs there are amazing. Good luck :)
