THank you I applied via CASPA for the January 2012 AND January 2013 start date only a week after the cycle opened (so..around April 22, 2011). I heard back from them in early July 2011 saying that by the time they received my application for the Jan 2012 start, they were already done interviewing since they start their interviews the first week of March. They also encouraged that I apply for the 2013 start. Since I already applied for the 2013, I just had to play the waiting game. I heard from them again this February and was offered an interview on their first interview date and found out a week later that I was accepted. So, I would suggest applying for both right away.
