PAOROT
I'm in occupational therapy school currently, and would like to apply to a PA program in a couple of years after gaining experience as an OT. Can I use my fieldwork experience as healthcare experience hours? Possibly even patient care hours since I will be working with patients during my program. Thank you! hmtpnw
My understanding is that programs generally don't accept PCE or HCE that was done as part of a training program.
pastudentw
You will not be able to use clinical hours you gained which were required for a course. But after you graduate and get a paid position, all of that will count for PCE hours.
