kiddbuckeye Posted February 23, 2018 I have been out of school for a year and have practiced in UC and ER. I recently completed reading Tintinalli-Just the Facts. Considering purchasing the PA EM Boot camp. Any thoughts good or bad regarding this product ?
Moderator EMEDPA Posted February 23, 2018 Moderator it is pretty good. my last group got it for all of us pa/np folks for free and we had to complete the basic and adv boot camps online as a condition of continued employment. we had 2 years to do it. The ekg and rads sections are the most high yield I think, but all are good.
kiddbuckeye Posted February 25, 2018 Author Is there anything else that you would recommend ? I am trying to continue my learning,
Moderator EMEDPA Posted February 25, 2018 Moderator if you have not taken the following I would look into these courses: acls, atls, pals, apls, also, abls, fccs, difficult airway course. each is 2-3 days.
telemedic Posted February 25, 2018 SEMPA 360. Didactic lectures by the best educators in emergency medicine. Also excellent hands-on workshops on ultrasound, procedures, critical care and more. https://www.sempa.org/conference/
