T3hshultzie
So I had a few questions about recommendation letters.* First: Does it need to be written as if talking to the college you are applying to, or can it just be a generic letter so that you can send them to multiple colleges? Second: Say I don't make it in my first attempt, can I use the same letters for my second attempt? And third: How many copies should I obtain from each person that is writing them? Thanks for the help!!
greenmood
Read the instructions on the CASPA website. I wouldn't use the same letters twice. You miss the opportunity to allow your references to comment on your persistence in applying a second time. Also, it's lazy.
jmccue
1. Generic letter that you can submit to CASPA (centralized application process). 2. Don't reuse same letters. New letters would shed light on improvements in your application. 3. You probably won't get a copy. The letter is submitted directly to CASPA and forwarded to any programs you apply to. Best of luck!
