yadiyada
Hi guys! I'm applying next cycle, and I have a question about how GPA is calculated on CASPA. I've already completed my bachelor degree, but I'm currently taking a few more classes at a community college in order to satisfy the pre-reqs for some PA programs. The question is: how will CASPA calculate my GPA? Will it include grades for the additional classes I'm taking or just my grades in college? Please help me out. Thanks! :)
MEPA2B
It will include ALL grades.
Ktsterry
CASPA calculates like 30 different grades for you. But the two grades that are mostly looked at are your cumulative (which will include your post-bacc) and science GPA's. CASPA does not do grade forgiveness, though, so every single grade you've received in college will be used. It's a real bummer. loliz
CASPA has an entire part of the website dedicated to explaining this and many other useful things. It's called FAQ and a worthwhile read for any applicant.
