secondary and supplemental applications

Hello! I am almost finished with filling out my new CASPA application that just opened this past week. I know that we have to fill out the supplemental applications for each school we apply to, but where do we fill them out and submit them? Do we need to wait to fill them out until we are further contacted by the school? Some schools have them already have links attached that take you to them, but most do not. Also, how do we go about doing the background check for each school? Thank you!

I believe they only do the background check on accepted students. As far as supplemental's go you have to read the program's websites some schools have directions on how to do them. If you aren't sure after that I would email the programs to ask.

Last year, I was mailed a supplemental application and permission for the background check after the school reviewed my application. I'm sure it varies by school. Just to give you a feel for a timeline, I submitted my caspa application at the end of May and received the request for supplemental in the beginning of September...
