PAsoontobe
Hi all I hope you are having fun with CASPA, I know I sure am! :) I was wondering how all of the experiences should be entered, chronologically or what? I have an experience that falls under both health care experience and shadowing; I understand that this can be broken up by dividing the hours spent per week. I am curious though as to how I should enter everything in; please see example below. Currently I am planning on listing everything as follows (top to bottom on CASPA) and within each of these groups have two to three experiences: 1)Pt Care Exp 2)Health Care Exp(Paid and unpaid) -Scribe in 2016(for example) -Front desk for Dr. office in 2015(for example) 4)Employment 5)Shadowing 6)Volunteer
DiggySRNA
CASPA rearranges your experience (from what I noticed with mine). My patient care experiences are second in order w/ employment being the first.
PAsoontobe
CASPA's website says: Your experiences will be listed in the order that you enter them, with the first entry listed at the top and subsequent entries listed underneath, regardless of the dates entered. wxwin93
This year CASPA's website says "Your experiences will not be displayed in any particular order, regardless of the order or the dates entered." What does this mean exactly? Does this mean we just put them in however and CASPA will rearrange for us when schools pull up the application? Allegro
^Yep. You have no control over the order schools see your experiences in, so don't stress about the order you enter them.
wxwin93
Ok thanks so much! That's what I was thinking, but I just wanted to be sure. I almost started deleting all my experiences bc I was trying to fix the order haha. Good thing I checked CASPA!
