PennPA4
What do you think is a decent annual raise ( percent wise) to ask for surgical PA during first annual review in private practice?
delco714
I got 2% at 6 mo and then a year as well. At my 2 year Mark I got a bigger raise which I had to fight for tooth and nail. Having said that, I think the small raises were appropriate until the 2 years experience occurred. If you're seeking out your first raise, and private practice, focus should be on how much you are growing and able to help the surgeon be more productive. Then move if appropriate toward personal productivity and what you bring $ to the office (will they give you this info?).
