I've never worked in this setting, and I'm wondering if there are resources for learning from docs/other PAs who have worked in the field. I hate to bug the doc I work with about every little question, and I feel it would be helpful to go over some things with a mentor. I'm finding that UpToDate, Currents, etc. are great, but need help with real-life patient encounters - i.e. dealing with patients who demand antibiotics and such. UGoLong Posted June 3, 2015 Share Posted June 3, 2015 I would try either my state PA organization, find a hospitalist PA nearby, or ask one of the legions of drug reps for the names of some of the more experienced PAs they interact with.
