potentialPA
I'm currently a PA student set to graduate in May 2016 and am interested in joining the Navy after graduation. I initially applied for the HSCP program before school started and was recommended but got my application in too late for the cycle. At that time my recruiter had told me the next best option would be to apply for the HPLRP program six months before graduation. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience with HPLRP or about the competitiveness of the program. Any information would be appreciated. Moderator LT_Oneal_PAC Posted April 13, 2015 Moderator Share Posted April 13, 2015 I didn't do it, but direct commission has very few slots. I've heard from 5 by my recruiter when I did HSCP, to 2 by one of the direct commission PAs I work with now. Not sure how many actually apply.
