Acute Arterial Occlusion

Recommended Posts

Pt,  who had a MI about a month ago, arrives in ER with with cold, numb leg with no pedal pulse. What do you do first? Emergency surgical consult or emergency doppler U/S? Can you call first since it's a surgical emergency and then do doppler? Or do we have to confirm what it is with a diagnostic before calling? Classmates and I are debating.
