acozadd Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 As mentioned, I think in theory it is nice to assume that the PA turned Dr. would truly understand the use of a PA and be a good PA advocate... but I feel like many in the population who decide to become a Dr. would do so because they are disgruntled with some aspect of the PA profession and after the time/money commitment I don't see too many of them readily handing more freedom/responsiblity to PAs. They had to put in the time/hardwork/money to become a Dr... why should a PA who didn't just have it handed to them? There may be some exceptions.
