Whitcc1
So my question is; aside from all the usual stuff which is on my resume (HCE, Certs, College, past jobs). This summer I started working at a Winery in addition to my job at a SNF. I did this primarily for two reasons... A - to make more $ and B - to get paid to expand my knowledge about wine vs spending a crap ton of money on expensive bottles. Anyways originally I was not going to add this to my resume, is that a smart idea? Or should I add it and see if it sparks any interesting conversations? What cha think folks? winterallsummer
I'd leave it off, personally. I had a few jobs before I became a CNA, prior to PA school. Bartending, random stuff like that. The only thing I included besides my research and HCE jobs was an office job I had because it highlighted working with computers. Winery and stuff like that, while interesting, I'd leave off. Professionalism trumps interesting here IMHO.
zoopeda
Especially since you've only been there for a few months (as opposed to owning the place or running a good chunk of the business). I'd leave it off too.
dchampigny
I would put it on. Any activity unrelated to medicine can be spun in a way to show that you have other interests. It shows that you are well rounded and can have a conversation about a broad range of things Its an interesting point IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
