rrasbe1
Hello all, I am starting my elective rotation next month in neurology and would really appreciate some suggestions regarding which books I should read to prepare me for this rotation. I usually use the blueprints, etc. to prepare for EOR exams, but seeing as we are not tested at the end of elective rotations, I would like a more practical book that prepares me for the actual rotation. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!
FfIghter23
"Case files - Neurology" is good. Surprisingly, "Neuroanatomy through clinical cases" helps a ton when thinking about the physiology and anatomy associated with neuro cases. Neither books are all encompassing, but will give you a good start.
LoRezSkyline
MRS series comes through again - 87 pages, easily readable, helped me tie things together during our Neuro unit in school. "Clinical Neuroanatomy Made Ridiculously Simple" http://www.amazon.com/Clinical-Neuroanatomy-Made-Ridiculously-Simple/dp/0940780925/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406258858&sr=8-1&keywords=neuroanatomy+dummies
rrasbe1
Thank you so much! For anyone also interested, I was also advised to pick up "Neurology & Neurosurgery Illustrated" as I am also spending time in neurosurgery.
