Corpsman2PA
Hey all- I got the call to interview for an EM position, and am not sure what the etiquette is in this particular situation. I'm a soon to be new grad, so they invited me for a formal interview then they said, "and we'll have you shadow one of our PAs to get an idea of the department." So do I dress to the nines with suit and tie? Leave the coat and just go shirt and tie? Or keep it business casual? Also, should I bring my gear (stethoscope, etc?). They made no mention of putting hands on, but I'm just curious what the consensus was in the forums. Thanks all. Hopefully soon I'll be posting a "new grad offer"... Administrator rev ronin Posted June 30, 2014 Administrator Share Posted June 30, 2014 Always overdress. If they suggest you change into scrubs, for the shadowing, do so. I'd skip the stethoscope as it's hard to carry one comfortably in a suit pocket.
Corpsman2PA
Thanks Rev. I was leaning that way, just wanted to get some more insight. Much appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
